Dr Matee Ullah qualified in medicine at the University of London in 2009 and trained across general surgery, plastics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery and intensive care before specialising in hair restoration. He founded the British Hair Clinic, developed the MinSim FUE™ technique, and is now Surgical Director at KSL Clinic. He treats male and female pattern loss across straight, curly and afro hair types.
Training
How he got here
A BSc at King's College London came first, then medicine at the University of London, qualifying MB BS in 2009. His early surgical experience came through electives at Harvard Medical School and the Trauma Centre in Dubai.
Further training followed at Queen's Medical Centre Nottingham, the John Radcliffe in Oxford and the Royal Hallamshire in Sheffield — across general surgery, plastics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery and intensive care. That breadth matters more in hair restoration than it might sound: the work is as much about tissue handling and blood supply as it is about hairlines.
He went on to found the British Hair Clinic, completed advanced facial aesthetics training at the London School of Facial Aesthetics, and is a member of FUE Europe.

Approach
How he works
He does the work
Design, extraction and placement are all his. The person holding the punch determines your result, so it is not delegated.
He will turn you down
If loss is still progressing, or the donor cannot supply what you are picturing, you are told at the consultation rather than after paying.
Twelve months, not three
Final density is judged at a twelve-month in-person review — including whether a second session would add anything.
All hair types
Straight, curly and afro hair each need a different punch angle. Not every clinic takes the latter on.
Aftercare you can attend
The fortnight after surgery is when problems surface. Being able to physically get to the clinic that treated you matters.

Philanthropy
Two causes run alongside the practice. SAMR Trust supports charitable and educational projects, and Hair For Heroes provides hair restoration for service personnel.
Both predate the current website and are longstanding parts of how Dr Matee works rather than marketing additions.
