in Manchester.

Salford is Dr Matee's northern operating theatre and the surgical site for most patients above the Midlands. As in Kent, the whole journey happens here — assessment, procedure day, aftercare and the final review.

Getting to the Manchester clinic

Waters Edge Business Park sits off Modwen Road near Salford Quays, a few minutes from the M602 and a short drive from Manchester city centre. There is parking on site.

On the day

Your procedure in Salford

Everything happens at 3 Waters Edge Business Park, Modwen Road. The hairline is drawn on you and agreed before anything begins, then the donor area is prepared under local anaesthetic. Extraction runs through the morning, placement through the afternoon, and you leave the same evening.

Patients come to Salford from Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and Yorkshire, and regularly from north Wales, the north east and Scotland. It is also where Dublin patients fly in to.

Aftercare and the twelve-month review are here too, with Dr Matee, judging final density against what was planned at the start.

The northern theatre

Salford covers everything above the Midlands

The Salford clinic runs the same theatre setup and the same MinSim FUE™ protocol as Kent. It exists so that patients in the north are not asked to travel the length of the country for a procedure, an aftercare check and then again for a twelve-month review.

Consultations held in Leeds, Newcastle and Birmingham all lead here, as do most patients travelling from Dublin.

Where patients come from

Greater Manchester and Cheshire locally; Lancashire, Merseyside and Yorkshire regularly; north Wales, the north east and Scotland less often but consistently. Salford is also the landing point for patients flying in from Ireland.

Getting there

Driving, parking and flying in

Waters Edge Business Park sits off Modwen Road near Salford Quays, a few minutes from the M602 and a short drive from the city centre. There is parking on site, which is the main reason patients travelling any distance tend to drive rather than take the train — you arrive at the door rather than finishing the journey by taxi.

For anyone flying, Manchester Airport is the obvious arrival point, and Dublin is roughly an hour in the air. Because the procedure is a single day, most patients from Ireland fly in the evening before and home the following day.

Planning it

If you are travelling a distance

The day itself

Allow a full day. Extraction runs through the morning, placement through the afternoon, with a proper break in between. You are awake under local anaesthetic throughout, so you can eat, talk and use your phone.

Staying over

Not required, but sensible if you are coming from Scotland, Ireland or the far north east. Some patients prefer not to face a long drive immediately afterwards, particularly if they have travelled in the same morning.

Consultations do not have to happen in Salford. If it is easier, be assessed at the location nearest you and travel here only for the procedure itself — all clinics are listed together.

Common questions

Asked before booking

Does Dr Matee operate in Manchester?

Yes. Salford is one of two surgical clinics. Consultation, surgery, aftercare and the twelve-month review all happen at Waters Edge Business Park.

Is there parking at the Salford clinic?

Yes — the clinic is on a business park off Modwen Road with parking on site, which suits patients driving in from across the north.

I am travelling from Scotland or Ireland. Is that practical?

It is common. Salford is the arrival point for patients flying into Manchester, including from Dublin. The procedure is a single day, so most people travel in and out around it.

Can I have my consultation elsewhere and surgery here?

Yes. Newcastle, Leeds and Birmingham patients are usually assessed locally and then treated at Salford.

How long will I be at the clinic on the day?

A full day, with breaks. Extraction runs through the morning and placement through the afternoon, and you go home the same evening.
